Valpolicella D.O.C. Superiore


Objective of this wine is to blend the two original features of Valpolicella: the delicate, captivating aromatic singularity of grapes vinified when fully ripe and the concentration produced by vinifying our same grapes raisined according to tradition. Far from the technical-commercial gambits of the ripasso (“repassed”) style, our blend is the combination of wine made from grapes partially dried for 30 days and a lesser amount of wine produced from grapes vinified when fully ripe, in a percentage which varies from vintage to vintage. The result is Valpolicella d.o.c. Superiore and its rich, complex aromatic edge, a full-bodied wine sustained by tannins and acidity, with captivating nuances that evolve with age for many years.
